On the 22nd September at 7pm there will be a celebration service with Jonathan Oloyede, Leader of The National Day of Prayer and Worship (NDOPW).
More about Jonathan
Jonathan was born in the UK but was bred in Nigeria. He was radically converted from Islam in the 80s and moved to Britain in1993 and whilst here on holiday felt the call to Europe as a missionary and
minister. He is now senior pastor at City Chapel in the East End of London and is the convenor for the National Day of Prayer and Worship (NDOPW)
He has led a call to Unity, Prayer and Transformation across the British Isles. Since 2006 through NDOPW there have been large gatherings of Christians including Wembley Stadium in 2012 and in hundreds of towns and villages, commissioning Christians to be change agents in prayer.
Last Christmas he, through the NDOPW brought 78000 Christians out of their church buildings to hold carol services in town centres, parks and villages etc. Since then he has built up a considerable Zoom
prayer network right across the British Isles.
We are thrilled he is coming to Bedford at such a critical time as this to rally Christians to pray for a great spiritual awakening in our town and nation.
