Lent Events

From Bedford Churches together

Priory’s Lent course for 2020 is

based on this film and gives us the

opportunity to reflect on what the

Christian faith has to offer in terms

of hope, redemption and new life.

Instead of GIVING something UP for

Lent, why not TAKE something UP

and spend some time sharing in this

course with friends from all the

North Bedford Churches Together?

Each week, the session will focus on

an extract from the film which will

lead us into biblical reflection,

prayer and discussion.

Watch the film

You can watch the whole film at

7.30pm on Wednesday 19t h

World Day of Prayer

On Friday 6th March 2020,

there will be two World Day of

Prayer services held in Bedford.

This year's service is prepared

by the Christian Women of

Zimbabwe who call us to 'Rise!

Take your mat and walk.’ The

service encourages us to reflect

on the difficulties and unrest

that have plagued their country

over many years. They share

the challengers they have met

and the hope they have for the

future and invite us to support

them as they continue their

often turbulent journey towards

full reconciliation. The services

include Bible readings, prayers

of thanksgiving and

intercession, meditations, songs

and hymns. The afternoon

service takes place at Miracle

Church of God in Christ,

Alexandra Road, Bedford at

2:00pm. The evening service

takes place at Christ Church

Bedford at 7:30pm.
