Last Sunday around 2000 people attended a free fun day in Bedford. The day included many free attractions, such as inflatables, face painting and a free barbecue. Local churches and organisations planned the day, with the sole aim of showing God’s love to the local community.
The day was paid for by donations from the churches involved, and involved a volunteer team of over 50 people, including young people, Bedford Street Angels and the Jaffa Orchard Coffee Shop. The day was declared a success, with visitor numbers higher than the 1400 who attended the previous similar event held in 2008.
