This event has been cancelled. The event organising committee plan to revisit this idea in the new year when they hope it may attract more interest. They apologise for the inconvenience caused.
This is an exciting event planned for the Autumn to bring local night-time work together from Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
It is a network event for anyone providing support into their community under the banner of Street Angels, Street Pastors or similar. This is primarily for those within Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire, but others are also welcome. We’ll spend a day sharing progress, ideas, initiatives and be inspired and encouraged. This has come about from conversations around the diocese and is being organised under the banner of the Diocese of St Albans Youth Service.
Young people are often the beneficiaries of this type of project and we want to see the Church reaching out into its community as much as possible.
Lunch and drinks throughout the day are provided – no charge will be made thanks to St Albans DBF, though contributions are appreciated.
You can find out more at www.albandys.org.uk or contact Dave Green, Diocesan Youth Officer directly – email: youthoffice@stalbans.anglican.org or telephone: 01727 818160.
